Gorilla Post is delighted to be involved in some very exciting projects for this year’s Galway Film Festival.

“Aithri / Penance” (82min feature film) stars Peter Coonan as a republican priest during the 1916 Rising. 50 years later as “The Troubles” grip Co. Derry he advocates more peaceful means – much to the disapproval of his old associates. Tom Collins is producer/director with Edwina Forkin as co-producer. Gorilla provided audio post, grading, VFX, online edit and finishing.

Cartoon Saloon’s “Late Afternoon” is an animated short which centres around the topic of amnesia. As to be expected with Cartoon Saloon the art direction is beautiful and the story between mother and daughter is bound to warm the hearts of many. We were delighted to provide all audio and picture post on the film.

Alan Mulligan’s debut feature “The Limit Of” has attracted lots of interest over the last few weeks. A former banker himself “The Limit of” is a dark psychological thriller telling the story of a disillusioned bank employee whose mother falls ill due to the repossession of her home.
