Well known Irish personalities such as Kathryn Thomas, Sile Seoige and comedian Alan Shortt were just many who took part in climbing Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
Their grueling 6 day trek to the summit, 5,800 mtrs above sea level, raised €250,000 in total for the charity.
Colin Farrell narrates their journey in a one-hour documentary that airs on RTÉ One on July 18th at 9.30pm.
