Gorilla has completed the audio post production on “Lamh Laidir Abu” (TG4) and “Throwing Distance” (Theatrical) for Square One Productions.
The 52 minute documentaries completed in both Irish and English, concentrates on “The Irish Whales”.
“The Irish Whales” were athletes who competed in weight throwing events in the Olympic games between 1896 and 1924. The charismatic athletes, who were Irish immigrants living in USA, shot to fame as a result of their remarkable success and earned their nickname due to their large size and fierce appetites.
The documentaries were produced by Shane Tobin of Square One Productions and directed by Andrew Gillimore.
