Gorilla recently provided sound and video post production for the 8minute award winning short “Violet”.
The animation went on to win an award at the Chicago Irish Film Festival, and was Ireland’s sole short film representative at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. It also picked up the James Horgan Award for Best Animation at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh.
Written by Mark Hodkinson, “Violet” was directed by Maurice Joyce and produced by Nuria Blanco of Tidy Toy Pictures. Aidan Gillen narrates.
