Audio is where it all began for Gorilla Post back in 2009. From humble beginnings operating from 1 just studio, we gradually expanded into the world class facility that we operate from today. Over our 16 year life span, we continuously invested in our studios, our decor, our size, our people and our branding. But above all our clients come first. Our services are friendly, collaborative, open and transparent. We aim to provide the highest creative and technical standards possible on a daily basis regardless of the size of your projects or budgets.
In 2018, we were nominated for an Emmy Award for our mixing on an animated TV series (Pete The Cat) for Amazon Studios. In 2019, we were nominated for ‘Best Sound Design’ at the Irish Animation Awards. In 2021, we won the award beating off stiff competition across all genres and age groups. We were nominated again in 2023. Given our track record we work with many of the world’s major streamers and broadcasters on a regular basis. We set ourselves the highest of standards. Our soundtracks are big, bright and leave an impact. No holes. No gaps. Punchy dialogue and great sounding SFX.
Sound Mix
Our audio department includes a large Dolby Atmos theatre and 2 high end Pro Tools HD studios. All suites are sound proofed and acoustically treated to the highest spec. Staffed by some of the most experienced and trusted engineers in Ireland, we produce rich, powerful sounding mixes while regularly delivering to world’s largest broadcasters and streamers. We offer a choice of in-house or remote mix sessions using Zoom, Source-Connect and Evercast.
Voice Recording & ADR
Our 3 studios are equipped with large contemporary booths for voice over recording, ADR, table reads and podcasts. All booths provide Zoom, Source-Connect and Evercast facilities.
Tracklay & Design
We go out of our way to make our projects sound as fresh and innovative as possible. From field recordings to creatingbespoke sound effects in the studio, to dialogue and Foley recording, our experienced and award winning sound editors never fail to reach new creative heights or wow our clients. All our sound design suites include the latest in sampling and synthesizer technology with access to our vast sound effects library.
